I'm feeling 22! 9.29.13

Happy Birthday to ME! I can't believe it is already September-Wow this year has flown!

Slept in a little bit and then opened up presents-I got such cute gifts and crafts :)

 Then Nate and I went to sacrament at another ward so we could make it over to his mom's to visit.

First birthday as a married couple :)

Bowling with the Moore's 9.21.13

Double dating it up with John and Sammi tonight.

We went bowling with this adorable couple tonight! Super Fun!

Nate ended up winning which he was super happy about ;)

After we went back to our place for some brownies and a movie!

Great night with this fun couple! :)

National Hamburger Day 9.18.13

National Hamburger Day today, so obviously we wanted to eat hamburgers in honor of it. 

Nate sure wasn't complaining about it ;)

Fashion Show 9.16.13

Nate's cousin, Katherine is taking a fashion class 

She asked if I'd be her model for her fashion show for a class project.

 I said yes!

Her them was card games

Her group chose Cranium and made me a dress, with shoes, headband and purse to match! 

Such a cute dress!

The fashion show was a fun experience & I loved it! 

Thanks Katherine for asking me-I had a blast strutting my stuff! 

Fair & Carrie Underwood Concert 9.13.13

My mom and I on my WA visit went to the Washington State Fair-or as we know it-The Puyallup Fair.

Got our corn, scones, and mom even rode on the carousel!

But the best part of the night was attending the Carrie Underwood concert. Through all the years we've been going, this one was MY FAVORITE! I love Carrie, she is so talented and such a southern sweetheart! Thank you mom for an amazing weekend and birthday gift :)

Officially a Schott 9.13.13

Mom and I ran around Tacoma today getting my Social Security card & license changed so now I can say I am OFFICIALLY a Schott. Man, men have it easy when it comes to the whole business side of weddings haha! But all the paperwork is completed! My mom is awesome and a way good sport and put up with all the waiting with me-love you! Then she took me to Charley's-yummy sub joint at the Tacoma Mall. Then we went shopping-yahoo!! I love Maurices, got me some new clothes for my birthday! :) Fun filled day and it was only the beginning!

Traditions never die! 9.12.13

If you know me, you also know I love spaghetti. I have since I was a little girl which is why I when my parents asked me where I wanted to go for my birthday dinner, I'd always say "Old Spaghetti Factory". 

I have been coming here for my birthday since I was 6. 

That is 17 years!

I seriously love spaghetti haha oh and the ice cream at the end!

But really, the best part is the company-the Lee's joined my mom and I and we had a blast chatting it up!

Flight for 1! 9.12.13

This year I managed to make it to 1) the airport on time for my flight (cough Brandon ;) cough) and 2) to fly directly to WA (no Denver pitstops ;)) so I was one very happy girl!
Got to the airport and waited for my flight-surfed Facebook a bit and then boarded and two hours (ish) later, I walked off and met up with my mom! :)

Settebello's 9.12.13

I married a stud. 

He is a hottie, just look at him in that picture-I adore him.

Anywho, back to the point of this post, we got to go to our FAVORITE place today!

We went to Settebello's-an amazing pizza place and then right next door is gelato (delicious-I think YES!)

Hard to say goodbye to this man for the weekend but excited to head to WA! (plus that means he gets to keep all the leftovers ;p)

Sunday & Mission Calls 9.8.13

If you know me, you know I LOVE sleeping in-it might just be my favorite hobby so I am not a big complainer of 1:30 church, except the fact we get out at 4:30. But I try and look for positives.

I also love the fact that I get to hang with this guy of mine! It is awesome being able to have lazy mornings!

1:30 church also gives me enough time to get up and ready for the day. I swear 9 am church sometimes saw the ugly side of me haha!

 Then afterwards we got to be apart of Britni opening up her mission call-South Dakota baby!
I love this girl, I am so glad I was able to be her roommate last year. It is true that people come into your life for a reason, she is such a sweetheart! I am so proud of her for her decision to go on a mission!

Using up our gift cards from the wedding for our date nights-tonight was to Olive Garden! 

All you can eat pasta bowl-so much PASTA!

I love my 5 cheese marinara & I especially love who I got to share it with!

Swiss Days 8.31.13

Nate went with my bro and dad to a concealed weapons class so I went with the Derbs up to Midway for Swiss Days :) I love being an Aunt, so much fun getting to hang with the kiddos all day! We had giant "scones" (In Utah they call them scones but they are really Indian Fried bread-people from WA know what real scones are haha!) Then we watched the parade-got the kiddos lots of candy  :) Then we went and walked the aisles looking at all the cute things :) After we met up with the boys and had lunch at Chili's-super delish! After we went back to the Derb's to play games and hang out! Such a fun Saturday :)

First day of school 8.26.13

Today is the first day of school. Weird to think summer is officially over. These past few months flew by (I guess that what happens when you are busy planning a wedding!) Nate starts his engineering program today and I start my last semester of prereqs! YAHOO! Happy first day of school everyone :)

Farmers Market 8.24.13

Last weekend before school starts so we figured we'd have some fun on the town! Friday we had Breanna (Nate's sis) come over for dinner and some tv time :) Then Saturday we met up with some of Nate's family and went to the farmers market. It was super fun, lots of little knick knacks to look at. We tried a lemonade with real peaches inside and Nate got some yummy ice cream sandwiches :) We had his cousins and mom come over for dessert and a movie later that night which was super fun!

Saying goodbye 8.16.13

Today was a sad day for all, we had to say goodbye to our beloved family member Charlie Schott. He was a fantastic friend, lover of fishing, and great example to all. It was hard to hear the news that Grandpa Schott had passed away just days before our wedding. We all really wanted him to be there, it ended up that Grandpa had other plans of making it to our wedding. He really was there in spirit! We drove down to Sandy Friday morning before the funeral service so we got to spend sometime with the family. Then we went and honored the man who gave us all great joy in our life! Grandpa Schott may be gone from this earth but he is back with the love of his life and is always in our hearts :)

Our very first apartment 8.15.13

Today was move in day! We got the keys to our very own place :) Nate's family came into town to help us move our stuff into our place (thanks for the help!)

Nate was a little worn out from all the driving!

Honeymoon 8.10-15.13

Hello from the newlyweds :) We had a fantastic vacation to Spokane for our honeymoon! We spent our first night in Tacoma and then Sunday morning headed over to Spokane! We had a gorgeous view! We went and treated ourselves to a movie, dinner, shopping and even to Idaho to Silverwood for some fun (thanks to the Lee's for surprising us with those tickets!) We loved our honeymoon and were definitely sad to see it end but we are excited to head over and move into our first place :)

BEST day of our lives! 8.10.13

No more countdowns. Today has arrived! Nate and I were sealed together for time & all eternity in the Seattle Temple. I was able to be married to the love of my life! I am now Mrs. Schott (weird to say that lol!) but I am so excited to be married :) I love Nate and we are so excited to see where our lives take us :)

Thank you to everyone who helped make our special day happen, all the extra hands, behind the scenes help, sweet thoughts, those who came to celebrate with us....we honestly couldn't have done it without you all! Thank you so much :)

Beach 8.4.2013

With Nate up early and the family all in town we decided to go to the beach after church today! It was beautiful outside and so much fun to just relax and take a break from all the stress that comes from planning a wedding! I am so excited to marry into this family in just a few days :)

My SWEET surprise 8.3.13

I have the BEST fiance ever. Nate was supposed to be in Idaho for a family reunion this weekend. He had said he was going on a hike and was busy with family which was fine because I had my bridals that day so my day was busy too. I headed over to his house (his mom was doing my hair and his aunt my make up). I walked in and sat down and was just chatting then I got the biggest surprise of my life. He grabbed my shoulders and said "hey"....lets just say...I flipped haha! It was definitely a surprise to me-I had NO idea he was coming up a week early! So nice to get a hug from the love of my life :) Then all Michelle's siblings started arriving with their kids so we got to chat till I had to leave.
