Britni time 5.30.2013

Seeing this gorgeous girl makes me smile! I love having me some Britni time :) We met up in downtown SLC and shopped around the mall then grabbed lunch (seems to be a common thing I do lol) but it was way fun to catch up. I miss being her roommate!

10k 5.27.13

This morning I ran my first 10k with my family-it was actually pretty fun. I was pretty hesitant to go out there and run but it wasn't too bad. I never saw mile 3 so I felt like I was going to die and not make it to the end but then I saw mile 4 and was relieved that I was progressing! :) Made it to the finish line in 1:13:59 ya boy!

The Moore's 5.24.13

Started out in his dad's institute class. John came home from his mission and I met him and we clicked and became friends. Nate, John, and I ended up going to USU for school this past year so John and I got to hang out occasionally. Then in October he met Sammi. I got to know her a bit and we hung out a few times.

In February these two love birds got engaged.

In May they were married!

Nate and I drove up to Ogden for their reception tonight, cute couple! 

So happy for them :)

I don't mind an hr drive with my man either! ;)

CNA 5.24.13

CNA course is completed! Now to test and it is official :)

Glad I was able to do clinicals today and get to have some experience working with patience!

Pool time 5.22.13

Some days after Nate gets out of work I convince him to come over so we can hit the pool and then no one is there! The pool to ourselves is so much fun! We had a few races, dang kid is too tall though he is halfway across the pool before I can push off haha!

babysitting 5.18.13

Marrying him for so many reasons but the niece and nephew are happy to have a jungle gym to play on haha. Jaxson and Brooklyn just love Nate!

We took the kiddos to the park and one of the neighbors had this sweet ride out and let us give it a try :) Basically making us the COOLEST babysitters EVER ;)

Then we played on the toys, swings, and slides-so much fun :)

Then after we were done we went out to JCW's for dinner! So yummy!

Registering and dinner date with Dad 5.11.13

We registered at Target today-oh man the power that comes from that little registering gun haha! It was fun going around the store and making our wish list! Then we hit up dinner with my Dad at a Mexican restaurant...so yummy and as you can see the plates were huge! Nate and I ran some more errands then picked up Jamba Juice for dinner :)

Brooklyn's recital & birthday dinner 5.4.2013

Brooklyn's tumbling recital was Saturday morning, it was awesome to see all her hard work pay off! Then we went back to celebrate the little girl's birthday! And after we went out for dinner to Los Hermanos for another celebration! It was a great day! :)

Grandma Schott's Funeral 4.20.2013

Karen Schott passed away on April 12, 2013 surrounded by her family and loved ones. We celebrated her life today at a funeral held in her honor. I had only known her a few years but she was such a sweet lady and definitely holds a special place in my heart. She will be loved forever but I know she is in a better place now and through the plan of salvation we know we can be together with her once more. We love you Grandma Schott! Peace be with you till we meet again!

We're ENGAGED!!! 4.18.2013

What started out as a regular date ended up being the BEST DATE EVER!
Nate came over and picked me up and we headed over to Jimmy John's to grab dinner (Nate had tried it before on his mission and I've never had it so we went for it!). We then drove to Mantua and drove to a lake, sat on the dock and ate our dinner. Nate being all sneaky he put a box behind his back and said I couldn't peak. Then he decided to sit next to me so he put the box behind me and told me no looking! Hardest thing ever ;p After dinner he brought the box from behind me and it was cupcakes-the stinker! So as we ate I nibbled on them thinking maybe a ring was in there. (ya I had my suspicions lol) but nothing was in them so I figured it wasn't going to happen. We then to walk off our sub sandwiches around the lake. Then Nate suggested we walk up this hill, it was such a beautiful view! As we were up on the top, Nate got down on one knee and proposed! He is such a sweetheart! I loved how he proposed! I am going to be a Schott :D

Homemade bowling 4.13.2013

We like to party! Britni and I wanted to go bowling but we found out that it was quite spendy for a college kid's budget so we decided to make our own lol! We got some water bottles and used my mini basketball and went outside and bowled the night away! It was way fun :) Trent (our neighbor) ended up beating us but hey it was still fun! Then we went to Macey's and got Kong cones-they had never had one before! They are AMAZING :)

hipster night 4.11.2013

It seems like one of those nights...to dress up like hipsters! Oh T-swift...how Britni and I love listening to you! It was a fun night, we went out to Walmart and tried on some colored pants-never thought I'd do that but hey it was a good laugh!

Conference weekend 4.6.2013

Conference weekend is amazing, spending it with my friends from Seattle-Shannon and Dean along with Nate and oh yeah going to actual conference makes it AWESOME! Thank you Shannon for getting tickets for us so we could go and experience conference together! Love you sweet girl! It was an awesome experience to be in the presence of the general authorities and to hear their thoughtful words :)

Easter 2013

With Brittany and John at the hospital with baby Jordan, Grammie Lis and I got the kiddos ready for church and we made the family some signs to welcome home Mom, Dad, and Baby Jordan! After they arrived home we decorated eggs and had dinner together as a family :) It was a great day!
