Date night-pazookie time 2.22.2013

I love date nights-we picked up a pizza, watched Major Payne (funny old movie), and then made pazookies on Nate's pazookie pans he got for Christmas :) They were super yummy! Date nights are the best!

Mireya's Baptism 2.16.2013

Nate and his sister Breanna went up to Washington this weekend for their little sister Mireya's birthday and her baptism :) I cannot believe she is 8 already! Wow time has flown by! I am happy that Nate got to be apart of his sister's big day, he even got to be the one to baptize her which was an incredible experience for the two of them! She just adores him :)

USU Basketball 2.16.2013

USU basketball games are intense-they love cheering on our team and cheering against the other haha
But they are so much fun to go to and sometimes I get in on the action ;) This game was so intense too-we were behind and got caught up and were only down by a few...the last minute though the other team got ahead so we ended up losing ;(

My roommates are awesome! 2.10.2013

So at our ward prayer each building gets to introduce themselves. My roommate rauni and I made up some new lyrics to the popular song "I'm sexy and I know it" and replaced them with "we're worthy and we know it"-then my roommate Britni and I performed it!
Hoping to get the video from my ipod soon! It was pretty awesome if I do say so myself! :)

Free Pancake Day at IHOP 2.5.2013

Tonight the roomies and I went and grabbed some FREE pancakes! Britni (pictured with me) had called before to see about reservations but they said no....20 mins later Ashley (the one in the blue shirt) called without knowing we already got turned down and was told yes haha so we get there and apparently it was actually supposed to be a no. But since one of the employees had said yes they were true to their word and got us a table! SCORE! So glad I didn't have to wait in the hour line for free pancakes! :) They were delicious by the way!

Super Bowl Sunday 2.3.2013

Chips. Pop. Couch. Big Screen TV. Family. AMAZING!
Super Bowl Sunday was awesome this year! OH and the Ravens beat the 49er's 34-31! Crazy game! Half time with Beyonce wasn't half bad either!

Got home early from church to help prep for Super Bowl Sunday and when that was over we got to just chill which was super fun! I love this guy so much! We have such a great time together :)

Crockpot honey BBQ chicken 1.27.2013

Whipped out my crockpot for the first time and made dinner-I LOVE this thing! Made some honey BBQ chicken to put over rice and then some corn for a nice Sunday meal for my roommates and I! Can't wait to use it more!

Guns v Hoses hockey game 1.19.2013

Brandon and Dad had gotten tickets for the guns v hoses so I decided to tag along!

It was an intense game that is for sure-for not real hockey players they got rough! 

Amazing to watch though, I am totally a fan of the throwing someone into the wall ;)

24-oh wow my big brother who always tickled, tortured, and teased me is such an adult now! I love you so much bro! Wishing you a fantastic year! So glad I was able to make it down to celebrate your birthday with you!

I'm a BIG kid now ;)

So once upon a time...when I was 8 I got my ears pierced.

I hit my "rebel" stage and told my mom I wanted to wear the earrings I wanted.

She let me make my own decisions.

And then the EAR INFECTION!

lesson learned.

BUT

after 2 and 1/2 years of no earrings

Over Christmas break, my mom and I went and 

I GOT MY EARS PIERCED!

 When I was 8 they pierced them at the same time, not so much now :/

First one wasn't too bad, a slight pinch. It was the second one that stung lol but I made it through and

BAM earrings!

Diamond earrings for me-Merry Christmas from my mommie! Thank you :) I love them-some bling for me ;)

New Years Eve/ New Years

What a better way to spend the last few moments of 2012 but with my babe-it was so nice to have him home this year to celebrate with! I got to spend the evening with my mom as I got ready and then I went and picked Nate up and we went out to dinner at 5 Guys :)

Then we went and saw Jack Reacher-good movie!

Then came back to my place to make hot coco for our trip outside to watch fireworks!

This morning I got to go out and have breakfast smoothies with my good pal Emily! I love that we make time to hang out whenever we are both in town!!! It is so much fun to sit and chat with Emily :)

Shannon Time

This lovely lady drove all the way from Seattle to Tacoma to come hang out with me-such a sweetheart! :)
We hit up McDonald's for lunch and then to the mall-we made a pit stop at Dean's house (the institute president but also a great friend!) it was so nice to see him again and to chat for a bit! We made some amazing hot coco-the Spencer's had some yummy flavorings to add in!
Then we hit up the mall and did some shopping and chatting time :) It is so much fun to hang with this girl!

Christmas Presents

As I get older, waking up for Christmas has kind of lost its spark for me. BUT I do get to enjoy my niece and nephew waking up and being all excited to see what Santa brought and to wish Jesus a Happy Birthday! So cute :)

Watching them walk down the stairs pumping their fists with excitement for their presents at the end of stairs!

We all went around and opened out stockings (the thing I look forward to in regards to presents!) and then we opened up all our gifts! This Christmas turned out to be a great one! I got a crock pot, recipe book, running shoes, candles, soaps, winter apparel and lots of goodies for my place! :) 

All the gifts add a bonus for the season, but the greatest pleasure is being around my family! I loved having the time to spend with them!!! :)

Christmas cookies

The Derb's got a package of cookies from their neighbors and so we took it upon ourselves to make them and decorate them! The kiddos loved the frosting part ;)

Christmas PJ's

Each year we do our family tradition of opening up our one gift on Christmas Eve which is our pj's :) 

This may be one of my favorite traditions we do as a family!

The Derbidge's do a scavenger hunt from the elf (Santa's helper) for the kiddos to find their pj's-to be shown on another post :)

That was super fun-got a little messy especially after the kiddos attacked the frosting ;p

Tessa date

We don't let distance separate us-we find a way to hang out. ALWAYS!

Tessa came down to my neck of the woods in Utah this morning and we went out to Kneader's for breakfast-unlimited french toast for the win!!!! YUMMY!

THEN we hit up the mall-oh ya we did the girlie thing ;)

You know-if you go to the mall at 10 a.m. on a Friday morning NO ONE is there?!? 

it is like having the store all to yourself ;p

We hit up all the stores we wanted-scored a few items! I got a new cute outfit I'm excited to wear :)

Then we had a random dance party in her car on the way home

oh man she makes driving so much more epic!

Roommate Christmas

I am missing Ashley and Leann-they were hiding away from my camera! 

But Monday night after being home taught (our home teachers are awesome by the way, making sure we were all ready to go for finals and leaving for the holidays!) we decided to swap gifts :)

Got a new pair of gloves, candy jar, notepad, manicure set, and rings :) My roommates are awesome!

Fun in the snow 11.10.2012

Oh the snow...only perk of it snowing before Christmas is getting to have a snowball fight in it! I went out to go play with the kids but they were coming back in as I went out *bad timing* so instead I got my dad lol...the big kids can play too ;) It was fun-even when I got white washed lol...Good times!

Rauni's 21st Birthday! 10.11.2012

We went to Angies for Rauni's birthday and guess what???? WE CLEANED THE SINK!!!
We split up so 3 girls to a sink and raced to see who could do it first haha! Soooo much ice cream but it was so worth the stomach ache! Rauni & I ended up getting our stickers that prove that we CLEANED THE SINK! Heck yes! An awesome birthday gift (a belated one for me lol) :D

Conference break 10.6.2012

What better way to spend our break in between sessions then hitting up the park as a family?

It was awesome to go out in the warm sun and go play at the nearby park :)

No one else was there so it was like it was our own park-sweetness!

It was way fun-slides, trampolines, and a corn maze!

Came down to my sister's house to celebrate my birthday! Walked inside and BAM my mom was sitting there-WOW surprise!!!! We had an awesome family dinner and then had more cake!!! The best! :)

Tonight we got to have a date night-YAY! Nate had to attend a musical performance for one of his classes so we decided to make it a date night! (No complaining here lol) The performance was awesome-super talented people! I'm jealous! I was happy to spend sometime with Nate :)

Chalk dance 9.24.2012

What else is there to do late on a Monday night???? Oh go to the USU chalk dance haha! Rauni and I decided we are boring and needed to get out. And well the school was having a dance so why not? We grabbed our roommate Ashley and headed up to dance our hearts out. The dance was supposed to be a chalk dance (the throwing chalk at each other kind) but we decided we didn't want to get dirty so we left before they did that. Baby steps of being cool here haha! But it was fun to get out for a bit :)

Tim McGraw concert 9.22.2012

Another yearly tradition we fulfilled was going to the Puyallup Fair to see a concert!

This year my mom got us Tim McGraw concert :)

He is SOOO good-he gets the audience involved (loved it!)

I got to go to the Puyallup fair with Shannon & Tessa :) Then met up with Tayler & Mika which was awesome! We rode the wooden roller coaster and looked around :) I love these girls!!!! I had a blast!

Made it my house to open the door to a SURPRISE party! My mom is sooo good! I had all my friends there to celebrate with me :) And oh man can't forget the awesome DQ cake-it is my favorite. It is a MUST at my birthday party lol! It was so nice to see all my friends again-thank you mom! :)

Tessa's visit 9.9.2012

What better way than to spend my afternoon driving from Salt Lake City to Logan with my best bud. Two hours of laughter on the drive :) We redefined the use of YOLO. We are just THAT cool haha! Got to stop and see the Brigham City Temple too which was awesome (got told we could pass as young women-baha two weeks before I turn 21!) I then got to show her around my campus a bit which was sweet! Thanks bud for being awesome and hanging with me :)

Jaxson's walk 9.8.2012

Today we went and did the walk for Autism to support Jaxson.
We were Jaxson's superheroes!
It was so much fun to be there and get to hang out as a family!
They had lots of activities for the kiddos which was way fun-even as big kids lol

What is better than a day off from school thanks to a holiday??? Having my dad make me his banana and chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast! Yes, I am spoiled and I LOVE it :D

I got to go over and see him tonight which was awesome! It was fun to visit with him and his family :) I haven't seen them in a while so it was nice to hang out!
